Day 1: Diego Suarez – Joffre Ville
After breakfast you will continue to Amber Mountain National Park which is the countries oldest National Park. Depending on your fitness levels and the climate you will visit the big waterfall, the sacred waterfall and have the opportunity to see many lemurs, chameleons and birds. In the mid afternoon after a picnic lunch in the park you will drive to Domaine de Fontenay which has its own 500ha reserve to be explored.

Amber Mountain National Park (North)
Set on a large volcanic massif rising from the dry savannah, Amber Mountain is an oasis of rainforest rising to nearly 1500m above sea level. This is Madagascar’s oldest National Park having been created in 1958 and is the main water resource for this region of North Madagascar as it has 10 times greater rainfall than the surrounding savannah. The Park is a sacred area for the local inhabitants and offers an interface for them to convene with their ancestors in places such as the sacred waterfall. The park is easily accessible from both Suarez and is often visited on day excursions, The Flora and Fauna are typical of Madagascan Rainforest with 7 species on Lemur (including crowned lemur) and a host of birds including The crested Ibis and Forest Rock Thrush.
Day 2: Red Tsingy – Joffre Ville
Depart after breakfast to the Red Tsingy, a more delicate and very unusual version on the Grey limestone Tsingy found uniquely in several areas of Madagascar, the red Tsingy are made of sandstone and present Beautiful forms. After a picnic lunch return to Domaine de Fontenay and explore the reserve with the option of a nocturnal walk or star gazing with their high-powered telescope, with extremely low light pollution this presents a fantastic opportunity for the amateur astronomer.

Day 3: Joffre Ville – Diego Suarez
Depart after breakfast for a visit to the Emerald Sea on the Indian Ocean side of Diego Suarez, lunch is served on a virgin island and there is the opportunity to swim in the clear waters or walk along the long expanses of white sand.
Dinner and overnight at Le Grand Hotel
Day 4: Diego Suarez
Today after breakfast you will drive to Windsor Castle, so named because it is a rocky outcrop resembling a castle, it has a great view point over the Mozambique Channel, Indian Ocean and the bay of Diego. You will also be able to see many endemic plants and there is also some good birding in the area.

Day 6: Diego Suarez
Depart after breakfast to Ankarana Reserve and the Grey Tsingy of Northern Madagascar, the day will be spent exploring this spectacular landscape and the dry tropical forest that covers it. A good pair of walking shoes are essential as is a moderate level of fitness.

Ankarana Special reserve (North)
The reserve covers and area of 18,000Ha and is a limestone outcrop of Tsingy (pointed shards of rock). Criss-crossed by canyons and replete with numerous caves, the park is a fantastic hiking area and has some great flora and fauna, much of which is endemic.
Day 7: Ankarana - Ankify-Nosy Be
Transfer from Ankarana to Ankify after breakfast. Visit plantations of vanilla, cocoa, ylang ylang, pepper on the way. Transfer by boat to Nosy Be
Dinner and overnight at Vanilla with full board for 3 nights
Day 10: Nosy Be - Antananarivo
You will be transferred to the airport for the flight back to Antananarivo after breakfast. On arrival in Antananarivo you will be transferred to vote Hotel
Day use and dinner at the hotel over the plates (or another hotel of the same class)
Transfer to airport for international flight
